Who are they?

Mastrenat is a project dedicated to recovering and preserving the art of traditional Mallorcan braiding. Inspired by the master craftsmen who produced pieces with this native technique, they create unique pieces with a Majorcan identity, reusing recycled leather materials and training new artisans.

What do they do?

They make handmade leather pieces using the traditional Mallorcan braiding technique, very significant in the leather industry of the 20th century. Each creation is unique and reflects the cultural richness of the island. In addition, they offer training through courses and workshops aimed at people interested in learning this historic trade, contributing to its preservation and dissemination.

What can you see?

In his workshop in Pollença, located at Carrer de Sor Flor Ricomana, 25, visitors can discover the artisanal process of Mallorcan braiding. In addition, they organize hands-on workshops for those who wish to learn this traditional technique, offering an immersive experience in local craftsmanship.
