Who are they?

Artesania Tèxtil Bujosa és una empresa familiar fundada el 1949 a Santa Maria del Camí, Mallorca. Today, the third generation continues the tradition of crafting the iconic Mallorcan fabrics known as ‘teles de llengues’ (tongue-patterned fabrics).

What do they do?

They specialise in the artisanal production of traditional fabrics, especially the teles de llengues, characterised by geometric designs and vivid colours. They also offer a wide selection of fabrics in linen, silk and cotton, in a variety of colours and patterns. In addition, they provide bespoke tailoring, upholstery and decoration project services tailored to the
specific needs of each client.

What can you see?

Visiting the Bujosa Textile Craftsmanship workshop is an experience that transports you to the past, with machinery and looms from the late 19th century still in operation. Visitors can observe up close the artisanal process of producing teles de llengues fabrics, from dyeing to
the final weaving, and acquire unique pieces that combine tradition and artisanal quality.
