Carlos Tellechea is a master craftsman established in Sóller since 2001 and creator of ArteArtesania, a project that was born as a living space that integrates a workshop, gallery and shop, and that reflects his way of understanding the craft: technical rigor, creativity and expressive freedom, with a clear link to the landscape and Mediterranean culture.
He works mainly with silver, bronze, alpaca and gold, often combined with natural materials such as wood, mother-of-pearl or ancient coins. His collections are inspired by nature, history and Mallorcan iconography, with pieces that stand out for their textures, volumes and a very marked sculptural language.
The ArteArtesania space, located on Carrer de Sa Lluna in Sóller, allows visitors to visit an open workshop that functions as both a gallery and a shop. Visitors can see the creative and technical process of the pieces, discover the different collections of jewelry and artistic objects, and learn about the work of both Carlos Tellechea and other contemporary artisans and artists who are exhibited there.
