Teixits Riera

Who are they?

Teixits Riera is a family artisan textile workshop founded in 1896 by Gabriel Riera in Biniamar, Mallorca. Today, the fourth generation of the family continues the tradition in Lloseta, remaining rooted in the island that has inspired them through hundreds of metres of fabric.

What do they do?

Specialising in the production of authentic tongue-patterned fabric, they create textiles following traditional processes that have been passed down through generations. They offer a wide range of fabrics, including ikats, stripes, jaspe and plain weaves, with over 70 unique designs. They also provide bespoke tailoring and decoration project services tailored to each clients needs.

What can you see?

Visiting the Teixits Riera workshop in Lloseta is an experience that allows visitors to immerse themselves in Mallorcan textile craftsmanship. The establishment is located in a typical village house, with the shop and workshop on the ground floor. Visitors can observe the fabric production process and acquire unique pieces that combine tradition and artisanal quality.
